An IQ maths question

Recently i took an IQ test online and got a score of IQ 108.(Thats high btw) So anyway one of the tricky questions that I almost got wrong is this MCQ question. Good luck and post your answers on Cbox!

There are 18 cows on the farm. All but 5 of them were sold. How many cows were left?
A. 10
B. 5
C. 3
D. 18
